Aqua Star of Seattle, WA is recalling Shrimp Appetizers (13.5 oz), because it may contain undeclared peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. None of the peanuts in this product are associated with the Nation wide recall of salmonella contaminated peanut butter.
Product was distributed nation wide through retail grocery stores.
Aqua Star brand Shrimp Appetizers are packaged in a cardboard box. Codes affected are stamped on the back of the box and include the following:

010 08257
010 08282
010 08283
One illness has been reported to date.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that product containing peanuts was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of peanuts in the ingredients.
Customers with sensitivity to peanuts should not consume the product. Product may be returned to the store for a refund, please direct any questions or concerns to Aqua Star Consumer Affairs at 1-800-323-6280.
