The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
Name of Product: High School Musical Manicure Kits
Units: About 15,000
Importer: Fantas-Eyes Inc., of New York, N.Y.
Hazard: The lettering "HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL" with glitter on the pouch used with the manicure kit contains excess levels of lead. Lead can be toxic if ingested by young children and cause adverse health effects.
Incidents/Injuries: None reported.
Description: This recall involves the pouch that contains the "High School Musical" manicure kit. The 7-1/2 inch by 4-3/4 inch plastic see-through pouch has a pink zipper with "High School Musical" printed in yellow gold with glitter and "Sharpay" printed in dark red on one side.
Sold by: LTD Commodities and ABC distributing catalogs and Web Sites and on www.lakeside.com from September 2008 to November 2008 for about $11.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled pouch used with the manicure kit away from children and contact Fantas-Eyes for a free replacement. Consumers can continue using the manicure items.
