Falcon Trading Company/SunRidge Farms of Pajaro, CA announced that it has taken the precautionary measure of voluntarily recalling the above mentioned items.

The product contains peanut butter supplied by Peanut Corporation of America, which is the subject of an FDA investigation concerning recent Salmonella outbreaks. Peanut Corporation of America (PCA) has initiated a voluntary recall of certain peanut butter and peanut paste made at its Blakely, Georgia facility, "because the products have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella." Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Falcon Trading Company/SunRidge Farms is committed to producing only the highest quality products, and our top priority is the safety of our customers. For this reason we are issuing this voluntary recall as a precautionary measure.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recalled product and no other SunRidge Farms products are being recalled.

The above mentioned items were co-packed for Falcon Trading Company/SunRidge Farms and were not produced in our facility. We have not introduced into our facility any peanut butter or peanut paste that was made by Peanut Corporation of America (PCA) in its Blakely, Georgia facility.
