Garden-Fresh Foods, Inc. of 726 South 12th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin is recalling 16-ounce containers of Archer Farms Potato Salad with an expiration date of 10/04/2009 because they may contain undeclared milk allergens. People who have allergies to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this undeclared product.
The recalled 16-ounce Archer Farms Potato Salad were distributed nationwide at SuperTarget retail stores.
The product is sold in a 16-ounce square plastic container. The product is marked with UPC number 0 85239 40228 3 and an expiration of 10/04/2009. Only this product marked with this code date is being recalled. No illness has been reported to date in connection with this problem.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a breakdown in Garden-Fresh Food’s production and packaging process.
Consumers who have purchased 16-ounce Archer Farms Potato Salad with the code date of 10/04/2009 are urged to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with a question may contact Garden-Fresh Foods at 1-800-645-3367.

Cherrydale Manufacturing LLC Recalls Target Archer Farm and Target Market Pantry Products That Contain Peanuts Because of Possible Health Risk
Peanut Corporation of America (PCA) has voluntarily expanded the recall of all peanuts and peanut products produced at their Blakely Georgia Facility since January 1, 2007.
Cherrydale Manufacturing LLC is acting out of an abundance of caution to voluntarily recall all products manufactured at their facility using peanut products from PCA, since January 1, 2007 because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
These brands of products were sold at Target and SuperTarget stores nationwide. Included in the recall are:

This action was taken as a result of the recently expanded recall by Peanut Corporation of America (PCA) to include all peanut ingredients produced in their Blakely, Georgia facility. None of the recalled products have been directly linked to the salmonella outbreak, and there have been no illnesses reported.
Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, particularly in young children, the elderly, and persons with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and/or abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses, such as arterial infections (i.e. infected aneurysms), endocarditis, and arthritis.
Consumers are advised not to consume these items and may return the items to Target for a refund or they may call Target Guest Relations at 1-800-316-6151.

Brent and Sam’s Announces Nation Wide Recall of Two Varieties of Archer Farms Brand Cookies
North Little Rock-based Brent and Sam's announced today a voluntary recall of two flavors of Archer Farms cookies as a precautionary measure due to the recall expansion of Peanut Corporation of America's Blakely, Georgia facility, which is the subject of an FDA investigation concerning the recent salmonella outbreak.
The recalled Archer Farms cookie items contain peanut butter supplied by Peanut Corporation of America. There are no reported illnesses associated with these cookie items, which are sold at Target and Super Target stores nationwide. Included in the recall are:
