Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
Name of product: Little People Play 'n Go Campsite(TM)
Units: About 96,000 in the United States (14,000 were sold in Canada)
Importer: Fisher-Price, of East Aurora, N.Y.
Hazard: The plastic Sonya Lee figure in the play set can break at the waist, exposing small parts that pose a choking hazard to young children.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received eight reports of the Sonya Lee figure breaking. No injuries have been reported.
Description: This recall involves the Little People Play 'n Go Campsite. The seven-piece plastic play set includes Sonya Lee, a tent and other accessories. Product number R6935 is printed on the toy's packaging. The name Sonya Lee is printed on the underside of the figure. Only Sonya Lee figures that bend at the waist, have a green sweater and purple camera around the neck are included in this recall. No other Sonya Lee figure is affected. The remaining pieces of the Little People Play 'n Go Campsite are not affected.
Sold at: Major retailers including mass merchandisers, discount stores, department stores and toy stores nationwide and in Puerto Rico, and by online retailers from October 2009 through August 2010 for about $15.
Manufactured in: China
Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the Campsite's Sonya Lee figure away from children and contact Fisher-Price to arrange for the figure's return in exchange for a free replacement figure.

Primal Vantage Recalls Plastic Tree Steps Due to Fall Hazard
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
Name of Product: Ameristep Plastic Strap-On Tree Step
Units: About 16,000
Manufacturer: Primal Vantage Co., Inc., of Randolph, N.J.
Hazard: The plastic portion of the step can break, posing a fall hazard to the user.
Incidents/Injuries: Primal Vantage has received five complaints of step breakage, including two reports of consumers being bruised and cut.
Description: Product is a plastic tree step that attaches to a tree via a nylon strap and a large metal buckle. It is used to climb a tree in order to hunt from an elevated position. Models 105 and 155 both have a 12/08 date code, which is stamped on the plastic portion of the step.
Sold at: The product was sold in 2009 at various outdoor and sporting goods retailers nationwide as a 3-step package in model 105 or as a single step in model 155.
Manufactured in: China
Remedy: Consumers should stop using the tree steps immediately. They should contact Primal Vantage for details on how to obtain a full refund. Consumers are asked not to return the product to retail stores as refunds can only be provided by Primal Vantage.
